BRCGS (British Retail Consortium Global Standard) audit in Sete Lagoas/MG and Itapejara D’Oeste/PR

BRCGS recertifications

In August, the Vibra units in Sete Lagoas/MG and Itapejara D’Oeste/PR underwent a recertification audit by the BRCGS Food Safety and Quality Standard.

BRCGS (Brand Reputation through Compliance Global Standards) is acknowledged globally by several companies and was first published in 1998. It is regularly updated to reflect the latest opinions in the food safety sector. The standard is a benchmark for the food-producing industries and offers manufacturers specific and operational criteria for food safety, authenticity, and quality.

Vibra has been audited against this standard annually since 2019, starting at the Pato Branco plant. In 2021, the Sete Lagoas unit underwent its first audit, achieving Grade A until 2023. Meanwhile, the Itapejara D’Oeste unit also experienced its first audit in 2022, reaching Grade AA – considered the highest standard grade – until 2023. Audits occur both announced and unannounced, representing a challenge for the units but reinforcing the importance of always doing things correctly.

Congratulations to the team for their daily dedication to maintaining the quality and safety of the food that reaches the tables of thousands of people.
