Vibra Agroindustrial, a Brazilian company specializing in chicken protein, announces a new step in its corporate governance. On April 4th, James Cleary, who was a member of the Company’s Board of Directors, assumed the position of Chief Executive Officer, exchanging roles with Gerson Müller, who brings 26 years of experience within the organization to the Board.
The new CEO arrives with the mission to drive Vibra’s growth and enhance the company’s partnership with Tyson Foods, maximizing commercial opportunities in value-added products. Müller brings his extensive operational experience and knowledge of the poultry industry to the Board of Directors, strengthening the capacity for decision-making.
James Dominic Cleary
Throughout his professional journey, James stands out for his leadership in change management and growth. He has vast experience in the branded value-added meat industry, M&A, and international trade with significant results for the shareholders of the organizations he has worked for. With over 30 years in the food industry in Brazil and abroad, Jim, as he is known, was the president of Pampeano Alimentos for 15 years before becoming CFO of Marfrig. In this role, he led the team that listed the company on the São Paulo Stock Exchange and oversaw the acquisitions of Moy Park and Keystone Foods. He also served as CEO of JBS Aves, concurrently acting as President of International Markets for JBS Foods before relocating to Australia to serve as COO of Primo Smallgoods. Jim has been a member of the Vibra Board of Directors since August 2020.
